Our Colts players are carefully integrated into senior league hockey and during their transition into our entry level Men’s team the focus continues to be on player development.

Working within our welfare guidelines we aim to offer Colts who are playing senior league hockey:

• League matches - the same pitch time as established senior players
• Matches in England Hockey U14 & U16 National Championships
• Exposure to playing in all out-field positions on the pitch
• A low pressure but high expectation team environment
• Hockey they know – by introducing Colts to league play in friendship groups they are able to impose their own natural style of play on the game
• Extra responsibilities - including match-day captaincy and writing the match reports

We are proud that NNHC Colts players attend the Norfolk Hockey Academy Centres and have progressed onto represent the county and region.

Players are eligible to play league hockey after their 13th birthday. The decision of when to play them will be made in conjunction with coaches, parents and team captains. Player welfare and development are prioritised.

Colts & Devs training takes place at Sheringham High School
