Dev's hockey was back at Sheringham on Saturday evening after a break of over a month. It was a slow start from the North Norfolk girls during a scrappy, congested first quarter in which they looked a little off the pace of a well drilled and motivated Yarmouth side. North Norfolk settled into the match in the second quarter and began to keep their shape and move the ball around well. After going into the break tied at one apiece, the girls blew off the cobwebs and switched on the afterburners. The third quarter was a scintillating demonstration of what we've come to expect from these girls this season, hard tacking, high pressing, fast paced passing and movement, exceptional decision making in front of goal and encouraging and supporting one another. The fabulous second half performance continued throughout the fourth quarter and North Norfolk started their 2022 campaign in quite some style.
A special mention goes to Polly for a phenomenal Dev's debut!
