Huge thanks to Gresham's School for the use of their pitch and to Watton HC for a great game of hockey
Winter arrived on Saturday evening at Gresham's with the match against Watton played in sub-zero driving rain and hail. Incredibly well done to both teams for keeping going in such freezing conditions! North Norfolk took a little while to settle and keep their shape early on with some of the girls trying new positions and others making their debut (Well done Anna!). As the match developed, it was impressive to watch the speed at which the girls broke from midfield and transitioned from defence into attack. With Watton playing two adults at the back, North Norfolk began to pass the ball much more in the final third and their movement off the ball was all the more notable when factoring in the awful weather conditions. The girls have progressed so much already this season and played incredibly well as a team and communicated excellently. Goal scorers for NN were Alice(2) Darcy(2) Mila and Drew. Girl of the Game was Kiki.
Meet at Sheringham High at 4:15pm for a 5:00pm pushback.
Please arrived changed in Navy Shirt, Navy Skort and Pink Socks. Please also bring a pink match shirt if you have one.
