On what began as a sunny autumnal evening and ended as a bitterly cold winter night at Sheringham, the girl's dev's overcame a stubborn and determined Pelicans side to record their second victory of the season.
Highlights of the evening included Annabella and Edie coaching on the pitch, encouraging and constantly communicating with the younger girls throughout the match, the performance of the aforementioned U12's girls who began tentatively but visibly grew in confidence as the match progressed and played a significant role in the final outcome, and the whole squad's ball retention, passing and movement in the second half, which was at times exceptional.
It was also pleasing to see the marvellous progress that the girls are making towards the primary team objective of everyone playing in multiple positions.
A special mention to Darcy for her first goal for the club and to Drew for scoring five goals in the first half. Goalscorers for North Norfolk were: Drew (5), Phoebe (2), Bronte and Darcy.
