After a lot of midweek searching for players a much changed 11 made the long trip down to Sudbury on a wet and windy day. After a slow start, which understandably lacked a bit of cohesion, North quickly found themselves 3-0 down to a well drilled Sudbury side. After this the team began to grow into the game and pulled one back after some individual brilliance by Arek just before the break.
A more organised second half defensive effort initially kept Sudbury at bay, whilst better passing play led to a few chances from short corners. However following a late green card, Sudbury scored their fourth three minutes from time to end up 4-1 winners. A good team effort in difficult circumstances, plenty of good signs to build on when we next get back on the pitch!
