Mens 2s 4-2 Norwich City 5s
The Mens 2s again welcomed a Norwich City side to Sheringham as they faced off against the 5s.
In wet and windy conditions an open start to the game saw both sides have early chances but City clinically took theirs to take an 2-0 lead. This led to a sustained spell of pressure from City and they could have been further ahead at the break but for an excellent goal line clearance from Tom Culverwell.
A reminder of the tactics and a slight change of formation for the second period immediately payed dividends as Ash Green pulled one back with an excellent reverse stick strike after some nice interplay in midfield.
This gave North some added belief and they quickly drew level through Josh Hinds after a bit of ping pong in the City D, before taking the lead when Ash was again on hand to fire home.
City then began to push hard for an equaliser forcing Callum Wilson into a some of smart saves but North rounded off the win just before the whistle with Alfie finishing off a counter attack.
Great spirit shown in second half to come back and win!
Man of the match was Tom Culverwell for a calm, assured performance at back!
