The 2s travelled to Dereham to play the fixture rearranged due to last weeks storm.
North started brightly and had a few early chances to take the lead however could not convert. The game then began to become scrappy and Dereham took the lead following a short corner. North were hindered by some simple mistakes and poor decision making, however equalised through John Withers after some good skill in the D. North then took the lead when James Hammond tapped in from close range following a short. The score remained the same going into half time thanks to some fine saves from keeper Callum Wilson, making only his second appearance.
The second half continued in a similar vein with both sides having chances but North extended their lead when Hammond finished from a good through ball from Andrew Whitby. Dereham pressed to get back into the game but North put the game to bed when Arek added a fourth with the game finishing 4-1.
A less than convincing performance but the result sees the 2s regain their 6 point lead at the top of the table with three games left to play.
