The 2s showed no signs of a Christmas hangover with a comprehensive win over Norfolk Nomads 2. North Norfolk had the better of the early exchanges and took a 2-0 lead with Alex Robinson netting both. After this some solid Nomads defending and a few missed opportunities saw the score remain the same at half time.
North started the second half slowly and Nomads capitalised on a blip in concentration to pull a goal back. This spurred North back to life and Robinson, rather fortuitously, added a third and fourth. With Nomads beginning to tire, North began to distribute the ball nicely round the pitch, making full use of their younger legs. Robinson, determined not to let anyone else have go, then added a fifth, six and seventh. Though the scoring run was broken when Arek finished strongly after some good work by Eli Jackson on the left. Overall a good team performance and hopefully a sign of more to come!
