First win to the season.

Mens 2's Match report - Sat 27th Jan
NNHC 2 vs Pelicans 3.
On a cold wet and windy day bottom of division 4NE (NN) faced off against second from bottom (pelis).
In the first half both sides were fairly evenly matched with NN taking a lead midway through the first half from J. Vann finishing some good lifted play in the Pelicans D. Pelicans responded quickly with a series of good passing moves ending in a well worked goal.
The weather worsened in the 2nd half giving both teams an extra obstacle, this saw more determined and grinding play from both sides, with T. Turner making some great to saves to keep NN on a level playing field. 10 minutes in and A. Whitby secured NN's 2nd shooting from a tight angle. More strong and determined play continued creating many chances on both sides but no goals.
A good game in tough conditions and a pleasing and deserved day for NNM2 as they gain they're first win of the season.
