North Norfolk 2s travelled to Ipswich, on a sunny afternoon, only able to field a team of 8 due to player injuries and absences. Short of numbers and against a home side able to utilise a squad of 13, the result was as to be expected. That being said it was a valiant effort and if not for the hardwork of everyone who travelled it could've been much worse. There was also a positive to take as on one of the few occasions we did manage to get forward, we pulled back a goal after an attack resulted in a short corner and Andrew Whitby converted from close range. All in all there will be better days and yesterday was a result we'll take on the chin and move forward from
