The men’s 1s faced off against fellow promotion chasers Ipswich 2s at Cromer. Despite Ipswich having the majority of the early possession, Norths well organised defence stopped any clear chances. North looked dangerous on the counter attack with Mark Farmer-Wright going close and Craig Grice having a shot saved on the line after beating the keeper.
After a goal less first half Ipswich broke the deadlock shortly into the second half. Despite the setback North continued to create chances and drew level when Ben Miles beat the keeper with a shot from the edge of the D. North then pressed for another but couldn’t find a winner with the game finishing one a piece. Although two points were dropped the 1s still remain 4 points clear with three games left to play.
