Pelicans 2(A)

The Mens 1st team made it three wins from three with a 5-3 away victory over a spirited Pelicans 2s. North started slowly, struggling with the high press employed by a young Pelicans side, however grew into the half and short corner strikes from Tom Cox and Ben Miles as well as a goal from Tom Bowden saw North take a 3-1 lead at the break.
The second half saw North play some much better hockey. Marky Farmer-Wright completed a flowing move which started in Norths own D and Ben Miles added his second and the teams fifth.
Pelicans came back adding two more goal. North had chances on the break but could not add to their tally. The result sees them take an early lead in 3NE albeit only on goal difference.
