Covid restrictions meant we had to use a bit of creativity, to make the match format suit the squad sizes, rather than the other way around. Thanks to Nick and the City coaches and parents for helping us tick the compliance boxes and still put on such incredible matches. They were all great to watch.

It wasn't a day to worry too much about the scoreboard, individual and team development was the priority, but the results were:

7 a-side - NNHC older girls vs City older girls. (W) 2 : 0
A fast-paced and intense U12 game started the morning off. The match was end-to-end and hard-fought as reflected by the score line.

7 a-side NNHC younger girls vs City younger girls (D) 0 : 0
Some great play, with younger players showing they're ready to step up. This was the day the summer training paid off. Well done.

11 a-side NNHC (W) 3 : 0 City
A new experience for many and those who reacted to the larger playing area the fastest really shone. Nice to hear the girls at the end saying how they had enjoyed something new.
