North Norfolk Men’s 1 were left frustrated after being held 2-2 at home to IES 3. With a number of IES players late to the match North Norfolk quickly took the lead when Marky Farmer-Wright slotted into an open goal. They continued to have plenty of possession but were met with a stubborn defence and an excellent goal keeper. IES pulled a goal back with their first opportunity when a forward went through unopposed from a speculative aerial ball. However, an excellent team move started by Eddie Sadler-Barker was finished by Tom Cox to retake the lead before half time.
The second half saw North Norfolk continue to dominate possession and chances, but a number of exceptional stops kept them at bay. IES then broke and finished clinically to level the scores. North continued to press forward but despite a number of chances couldn’t find a winner.
