North Norfolk Men's 1sts immediately bounced back from last week's defeat with a classy 4-2 victory over Dragons 3's. In a new look formation North Norfolk looked menacing on the counter, the midfield of Sadler-Barker, Miles, Whitby, Green and Arek took control of the game whilst Hector providing the link to the forwards looked untouchable. North Norfolk took an early lead through Henry Sayer, and an inflight deflection was pounced upon by Farmer-Wright who smashed it in on the volley to make it 2. Dragons rallied in the 2nd half to bring the score to 2-1, before a well worked short corner routine by Miles and Hector extended North Norfolk's lead. The closing moments of the game were open and some committed defence from Hart, Whitwood and Hall and fines saves from Bartram were not enough to prevent Dragons from sneaking another goal. Hector finished the game with a sublimed reverse stick shot right on the full time whistle to make it 4-2.
