All the news for the 2019/2020 season...

Hi All!

Following our Committee meeting on Wednesday 29th May, the following points were discussed and some key issues were decided upon:

Annual Subs
This season the Subs cost and structure will be as follows:

Juniors

8yrs-14yrs = £50 an 'all-in' price which includes club socks and shorts/skorts and also Tuesday training.

U8's = £25 with kit bundle, Tuesday training included
U8's = £10 without kit bundle, Tuesday training included

8-14 yr olds have options to pay for half a season = £30 Sep-Dec and £30 Jan-Mar

Guest players: £20 if taking kit bundle. £10 if not taking kit bundle option.

Adults

Senior Membership £100
Reduced Senior Membership £50 (see website for description)

This allows for 20p per mile to be claimed by all members at their discretion, and is calculated from the postcode of our home pitch at Cromer Academy. It also includes the training fee for Monday nights, as it did previously. Kit, social events and match fees all remain at an additional cost.

This can be paid from this point onwards and is set up on the website to allow this, and can be paid via BACS to the Club account:

Barclays
SC 20-62-53
Acc No 40323047

Please ensure you reference your name or the name of the player it refers to in the payment.

There is also gradual payments to spread the cost, and this is also located on the website. All subs must be made no later than 1st October 2019. Failure to make payment by this date means suspension from participation within the Club until full payment is made. Please see Club Policies and Constitution for further details. We will look to Introduce a family membership next season.

Match Fees

Adult match fees will now be £10.

Club Payments to be made online

All payments are to be made online through the website www.pitchero.com from this season wherever possible. This includes subs, match fees, kit payment and event payments as well as payments for Club teas and umpiring fees. This makes it easier for the Club to audit. Please raise any issues in relation to this with the Committee.

Training Location Change to Sheringham

Due to cost and pre-season unavailability of Cromer, training for both adults and juniors will be moved to Sheringham High School. Adult training begins on Monday 20th August although pre-season fitness training will begin in the summer and details of this will be posted shortly. This will remain the location for training only for the foreseeable future. All match games will remain at Cromer Academy.

Kit

We are in the process of providing men’s home kit to match the ladies colour - this will be predominantly blue with pink detail. The current home kit will then become the away kit. We are also looking to stock socks for the Club to be purchased through the website, and longer term are looking at sponsorship for the Club and providing ladies away kit for both teams.

Fundraising

Tickets are now available for the Casino Night on Saturday 31st August 2019 at 7pm at Cromer Tennis Club. Tickets are priced at £25 and will get you entry, £150 of casino fun money to bet with (additional money can be purchased during the evening for £10 per £100) and food. There will be 3 tables to place your money at, as well as ‘Play Your Cards Right’. You are very welcome to dress to impress too, as the Club will be casino themed. This event is open to everyone, so bring your friends and family, tell your neighbours and spread the word as it’s the biggest fund raising event the Club will hold all year. If you have any prizes you would like to donate for a big raffle at the end of the evening or know of a Company who would like to sponsor a table, please contact Rachel on the Committee.

The next Club Pub Quiz is at Cawston Bell on Wednesday 4th September 8.30-10pm. £3 per person, maximum of 6 people per team. All funds raised go to the Club. These are held every two months, and again are open to everyone and is family friendly ?

Committee Meetings

Committee meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday of each month at Cromer Tennis Club. The minutes from the previous meetings are available on the Pitchero website. Please raise anything you would like discussing with any of the Committee members. We always welcome new ideas and fresh approaches and are very happy to listen.

We very much look forward to the 2019/2020 season.
