After defeat the previous week, the 3s came into this Saturday looking to bounce back against Dragons. North Norfolk started strong and from the first short corner Stu Bunyan converted from Jonny Mills' layoff. Despite being on top for most of the half Dragons went in level after a dubiously awarded short corner led to a penalty flick which they converted
Within minutes of the restart, Dragons had another flick awarded following a short corner. The taker of the first stepped up again but this time 'keeper Alex Lambkin stood tall and made a big save which seemed to galvanise the team, with Ian Roberson seemingly showing the greatest affect, waltzing past 3 players before firing a reverse shot into the far corner (I couldn't believe it either!)
Again though, just as North Norfolk started to build momentum, a questionable short corner led to a third flick for Dragons. This time Alex was unable to repeat his heroics and the score was level again at 2-2. North Norfolk pushed forward in search of the winner and were duly rewarded with 2 minutes remaining, after keeping the ball alive at a short corner, with Jonny Mills picking up the loose ball and sliding it to take the three points
