This august you are invited by North Norfolk Hockey Club to take on the three peak challenge to raise money for the hockey club.
A 5 days excursion to climb the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales. This will be a great way to try a new experience and test ourselves mentally and physically, all whilst raising funds to improve and better our hockey club.

Brief itinerary.

Wednesday 21st August.
Leave Norfolk on minibus/coach depending on numbers. (10/11 hours)
Arrive Scotland/hostel
Go out for meal/local pub.

Thursday 22nd august
Early start climb Ben Nevis 1144m (approx 6 hours)
Back in the coach/travel to hostel in Lake District (6 hours)

Friday 23 august
Early start climb Scafell Pike 978m (5 hours)
Back in the coach travel to hostel in Wales (4/5 hours)

Saturday 24th august
Early start climb Snowdon (5 hours)
Stay at Hotel in Wales/go out in Wales for the evening

Sunday 25th august
Travel home (6hours)

Participants will be asked to attempt to raise £200 per person in sponsorship which will give us valuable funds for the club.

There will be an approximate £300/350 fee per person to cover travel and accommodation costs. Although we are actively looking for sponsorship for this event to try and cover some of the costs of our accomodation and food.

As a group we will provide breakfast and evening meals in the hostels, participants will need to look after their own day foods.

Participants will only need day walking equipment, boots, day bag ect. And sleeping bags.
We will put on a couple of training days before the event comes along, would like all participants to attend at least one of these.
If this venture is well attended we could potentially raise the same funds as a whole year of our subscriptions.

We will have a meeting on the Friday 8th March 2019 at 7pm at the tennis club to have a discussion and work out any concerns.
